About iKraft

INNOVATIVE IT
iKRAFT is a five-year offer to all companies in Central Denmark Region (Region Midtjylland) regardless of line of business. The aim is to forward growth and development in the region by promoting innovative use of IT. Focus is in particular on the development of new IT based business models, products, and processes for the benefit of companies. The project also focuses on the recruiting of IT professionals and the establishing of an active, international co-operation. iKRAFT was initiated by The Growth Forum (Vækstforum) and is supported by Central Denmark Region (Region Midtjylland) in co-operation with municipalities in the region.

NETWORKING AGENTS
An important part of iKRAFT's work is to make the most recent IT knowledge easily accessible to the businesses in the region on the basis of their current situation and requirements. Six networking agents handle this task by attempting to increase regional companies' use of IT as a business development tool. The networking agents work decentrally in the region, and the consortium behind iKRAFT now employs six agents in Silkeborg, Horsens, Viborg, Randers, and The 7k Business Co-operation (Erhvervssamarbejdet) in Eastern Jutland and the Mid-West.

RECRUITMENT
Through iKRAFT the partners in the consortium seek to increase international recruitment for companies, as well as applicants for IT education offers. The project thus enables companies in the region to find enough qualified IT professionals, which is an important competition parameter in the coming years.

INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATION
Innovative IT inventions and IT experiences take place across borders and boundaries. Through new and existing networks at home and abroad knowledge and know-how is transferred to the numerous small and medium-sized companies in the region. (Her mangler tilsyneladende dele af originalteksten)
