Jan Lindegaard is an IT Networking Agent in Horsens-Hedensted, and you'll find his office at Horsens Business Council (Horsens Erhvervsråd).
Jan has worked with IT driven innovation for the past six years in close co-operation with VIA University College, Alexandra Instituttet, Aarhus University, The Mærsk Institute at SDU (University of Southern Denmark), and a number of businesses on projects such as:
• IT usage in the food industry (production equipment)
• IT usage in the building sector
• IT usage in the health sector
• Assisted Living (communicating with people suffering from dementia)
• Interpretation Services (virtual interpretation)
• 3D and animation
• Playing and Learning (interactive learning and communication, and tools for this)
• Generating of ideas and user driven innovation(including software and tools for this)
Currently, Jan is involved in an innovation co-operation with the Shanghai region in the field of Assisted Living.
On his own time Jan enjoys running, skiing, riding his racing bicycle, kayaking, and arranging concerts.
In the Horsens-Hedensted area a particular challenge is to make small and medium-sized companies adopt IT based business models and integrate IT in products and processes. This challenge is met with business visits, networking activities, and by stimulating the co-operation with research and innovation environments.
